So who is this Dax character?

The first question many people ask is 'Is Dax short for something?', and my general response is 'Nope, that is the name they gave me'. My name stems from a movie my mother saw called The Adventurer. The book is by Harold Robbins. She really liked this character in the movie whose name was Dax Xenos. Trust me, the book is not worth the read, and both my wife and I can attest to that. Regardless, that is how I got my name. Now about me. I am driven by creative folks with a focus on technology. My background for the last 16 years has been in IT management that really opens an array of skillsets. Managing other technologists, contracts, audio-visual services, website strategy, among much more. I always strive to encourage excellent customer service, as well as build lasting professional relationships. Prior to becoming director, I was the web manager for roughly four years at Marquette University Law School, designing, developing, and managing the overall production of the umbrella of sites.

I am passionate about the user experience. I am an advocate of excellent customer service. I am fun, happy, and energetic when it comes to designing and developing new projects, whether it be web, print, or brick and mortar technology innovation.

Client Testimonials

  • I have worked with Dax on a vast array of projects from hardware management to web design. Dax proves to be one of the hardest-working coworkers I've ever had. He is a useful part of any tech project, whether as a manager or team member, and will understand it thoroughly before completing it more efficiently than any involved parties could have imagined.

  • Dax is a great manager: Not only is he responsive (in person, via telephone and e-mail) and personable, but he is understanding and realistic. He pushes for excellence while being flexible—a rare combination. He gave me tasks that had me doing things I'd never done before, and I succeeded with his mentorship. It was a pleasure working for Dax; I got great experience in working under pressure by giving on-the-spot assistance.

I have also had the opportunity to work with Dax on appointed committees. Dax is very effective in listening to what individuals say and proposing solutions.
